We offer on-site and workshop based services to residents and businesses in Evesham, Worcestershire and the Cotswolds.

If a job cannot be completed on-site we offer a local collect and return service to our workshop.

Bespoke / custom PCs built

At computer calm we can supply and build bespoke desktop PCs. With our expert knowledge and experience, we can ensure that you get a computer that is ideal for your requirements and within your specified budget.

Repairs and servicing

We can service and repair Windows PCs, laptops, Macs and Mac Books.

Common problems that we fix regularly include:

• Unable to connect to the Internet
• Computer is running slow
• Blue Screen Errors / Blue Screen of Death
• Files that have 'disappeared'
• Computer will not start up.
• Continually re-booting/re-starting
• Blank or dim screen even with power on

Hardware upgrades

We can upgrade your current Windows/Mac desktop or laptop specification for improved performance, often for less than you'd think.

Operating System Installation / Setup and Upgrades

We can re-install your Mac, PC or Netbook to it's original factory state, or install/upgrade the computer to your operating system of choice (hardware permitting). These currently include: Windows 7, Vista, XP, 98SE, Ubuntu, Leopard & Snow Leopard, among others.

Wireless or wired network setup

We can configure your business or home network with suitable security, and with a specification suitable to your requirements. Your office or home printers can be connected to allow all computers to share them. The printer does not necessarily need to be wireless to be used on a wireless network.

Training & Personal Tuition

When it is not convenient for you to attend classes, or they are not covering the areas that you require, we can supply bespoke training and personal tuition in your home or workplace.

Virus & malware removal

When viruses strike, we strike back!

Is your computer taking a long time to do anything?
Does it act strange or unpredictably?
It may well have a virus, malware or spyware infection!

We can remove troublesome viruses, spyware and malware.
We will also backup your important information if required.

Data recovery

When computers go wrong, and they will eventually (even a Mac), you may find that you have not been as regular with your backups as maybe you should have been. Priceless photos of a wedding, your children or essential business records may be feared lost. This is not necessarily the case. In the majority of cases that we have dealt with, over 95% of the important information has been recovered sucessfully.

IMPORTANT : If your computer starts to get frequent 'read errors', make unusual noises such as a regular loud clicking or scratching sounds you should stop using it immediately and call us. It is likely that there is an issue with the hard drive. If you continue to use it in this state then you risk causing more damage, reducing the chances of successful recovery of your important files.

Backup services

If you have a single computer, or many on a network it is essential to make regular back-ups of your important information. We can supply and setup a suitable backup system to meet you requirements.
