We receive regular reports of phone scammers pretending to be from Microsoft calling local numbers. “Microsoft informs us you have problems with your computer” is the usual spiel. They will probably call you several times. It is all a scam to get you to pay for useless “support”.

Talking to a BT OpenReach engineer recently, who told me there are a large number of phone/internet lines that come from the Evesham telephone exchange and go over the river via Abbey Bridge. Hopefully there will not be any service interruption as work on the bridge progresses.
